Quality School Status
The King’s House School, Windsor receives ‘Quality School Status’ from Christian Education Europe, following an assistance visit.
Third Academic Year
The School welcomes four new pupils at the start of third academic year, taking the School to its maximum capacity and expanding from three to four classes.
Increase in Maximum Number of Pupils
The King’s House School, Windsor is granted permission by the Department for Education to increase its maximum number of pupils on roll from 32 to 39 pupils.
Guinness World Record
Key Stage 1 and 2 pupils play in the world’s largest samba band at the Royal Albert Hall with a total of 1,675 pupils and teachers from 27 London schools, setting a new world record!
Second Academic Year
The School welcomes nine new pupils at the start of its second academic year. Following building work over the holidays, the School’s improved facilities now include a lovely, bright Reception class and an impressive Junior Learning Centre with an adjoining Learning Resource Centre.
First OFSTED Inspection
The King’s House School, Windsor receives its first OFSTED inspection since opening. It is described as “a school which provides a high quality of education that exceeds minimum requirements” and is rated as outstanding for pupil behaviour and development. The OFSTED report notes that “the school’s Christian ethos underpins pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development which is outstanding.”
Specialists Appointed
King’s Church International appoints leading education experts EC Harris to advise on the future development of The King’s House School.
New Playground
In time for the summer term, a twin tower climbing frame is installed with artificial grass.
